I bought the WNR2000 wireless N router to act as a second router (behind my cable facing router) and so wanted to set it up as a wireless access point ( a router behind another router has issues) . The documentation that came with the router was first rate. By comparison my cable facing router was DLINK which came with virtually no documentation. I needed help with one aspect of the setup , called Netgear WNR2000 Technical Assistance and got through in less than 5 minutes ( compare that with DLINK ). The online help person spent more than 30 minutes with me and walked me through setting up the router. I needed to call back a second time and got through again in less than 5 minutes. When that person could not solve my problem they escalated it to their Level 2 technician who called me back ( from India ) in about 30 minutes. After all was said and done they solved my problem and everywhere along the way were easy to reach and willing to work with you. I was particularly impressed that they were willing to work with me to use their router as a wireless access point ( not the usual way of using their router) and despite the fact that their router was being driven by a DLINK router. Netgear comes with 90 days of first class customer support. If that is important to you , go with NETGEAR. Be sure to read other reviews

"by far one of the best wireless N routers i have ever owned. i needed a new wireless router when my previous one of 5 years had finally gone south. i originally purchased the more expensive linksys wireless N router, but returned it after a week of owning it. the linksys router would not stay connected more than a day at a time. finally i called linksys and went thru the install procedure with them step-by-step. still no go. so i exchanged it for the netgear and couldnt be happier. the setup of the netgear was flawless. i am running everything in my house wirelessly (5 laptops with different versions of windows, iPhones and iPods and even my desktop PC) with no trouble. my entire network works as if everything was hard-wired, and is totally secure. the range of the router is impressive too. i can sit out on the back patio, or be down in the basement and have zero issues with signal strength. i even pick up my signal across the street at my neighbors house!!

i would definately buy and recommend this product over and over"

"Purchased this product yesterday after an older Dynex G router died on me (after less than a year) and I could not get an equivalent Belkin N router to work even after talking to Belkin tech support for an hour. The included CD has bizarre installation instructions as the first instruction is "turn off your computer". Unless you have another computer to run the CD or you write all of it down you have no way of following the instructions. The install for a Mac has to be done manually and while it is straightforward I had to restart my computer and modem a couple of times to get it to acquire an IP address.It has been fine once installation was complete with great speed and range."

Looks clean, performs amazing, I've connected 3 Desktops, 4 Laptops, and an Xbox 360 fully networked without any problem. I like how it looks, it blends in with my TV table.
